Description
Early 1970's Tom Landry Game Worn Coaching Jacket. Mid-weight navy blue nylon windbreaker is one of the very few Landry artifacts one will find that actually could be characterized as a Dallas Cowboy uniform piece, as we all know that the Hall of Fame coach typically favored sport coats and fedoras over team gear for game day. So it's certainly safe to say that this rare garment presents a unique opportunity for the serious collector, as a bold white tackle twill "Dallas Cowboy" spans the back of the jacket, with an embroidered "Landry" swatch sewn to the inner zipper path to assure its royal heritage. Proper "Sand-Knit [size] Large (42-44)" label appears inside collar. Wear is light but definite, leaving the jacket in marvelous condition for use or display. The jacket derives from the same former team staffer who consigned the rest of the incredible vintage Cowboys material also found within this auction. LOA from Lou Lampson.Auction Info
