Description

1952-53 Montreal Canadiens Stanley Cup Championship Presentational Bowl. Appropriately elegant prize recognizing the Canadiens' victory in the 1953 Stanley Cup Finals was presented to Paul Marcel Raymond, a front office member who saw some playing time in Montreal in the 1930's. Intricate design work leaves space for the engraving of the particulars, which read, "Club de Hockey Canadien Inc., Paul Marcel Raymond," and "National Hockey League, Stanley Cup Winners, Season 1952-53." The silver-plated copper bowl shows wear in the interior, but the exterior presents as new with no damage to note. Stands six inches tall with a bowl diameter of eight and a half inches. A marvelous artifact from the days of Rocket Richard, Jean Beliveau and Boom-Boom Geoffrion.
