Description

1924 & 1925 New York Giants Silver Season Passes Issued to George Kelly. From the estate of the Giants' Hall of Fame first baseman George "Highpockets" Kelly comes this pair of passes presumably to be used by Kelly's family while he tended to his duties on the diamond. The earlier model is the tough "Open Gate" model, while the latter pictures a sweeping vista of the Polo Grounds stands beneath a headline celebrating four consecutive National League pennants. Each pass features Kelly's engraved name on verso with the pass' serial number. Maker's mark, "Lambert Bros, NY, Sterling," is at bottom verso of each. Both remain in splendid NRMT condition.
