Description

Circa 1910 Eddie Collins Full Size Decal Bat. They called him "Cocky," and with a lifetime batting average of .333 and 3,315 career hits, he could be forgiven for a bit of arrogance. The offered artifact dates from early in the Hall of Famers' quarter-century playing career, when he was representing Connie Mack's first great Athletics dynasty. The full size (35") J.F. Hillerich & Son. Co. lumber features a well-preserved decal image of Collins at the barrel, retaining 85% of its original state. The bat itself is likewise in fine condition, with a small chip at the knob but no other issues of note.
