Description
Brooklyn Dodgers Greats Vintage Signed Baseball with Wheat & Vance. Just four signatures on this ONL (Giles) ball, but you can't beat the names if you're a Dodgers aficionado. Perhaps the most attractive quality of this vintage sphere is the appearance of Hall of Fame outfielder Zack Wheat alone on a side panel, allowing the ball to present as a $2500 single. Vance's equally tough signature shares space with Cookie Lavagetto on another panel, and finally Dixie Walker appears alone to the east. A healthy dipping of shellac has left the ball an amber tone, but is certainly responsible for preserving the autographs in their present 9+/10 condition.
