Jack Dempsey Signed Miniature Boxing Gloves. The consignor's letter of provenance explains that his father owned a restaurant near the boxing legend's Times Square eatery, and the friendship between the two restaurateurs resulted in the creation of these keepsakes. One is inscribed, "To Leslie, Good Luck Pal, From Jack Dempsey," while the other has faded beyond legibility. Each glove shows considerable wear, with cracking to the leather of the palms, though the stronger glove still displays quite well. LOA from James Spence & Steve Grad/PSA DNA.Auction Info
