The defending World Series champs stormed through the National League with 95 victories in '66 before meeting the buzzsaw that was the Baltimore Orioles in the World Series. In what would become his final season, Sandy Koufax captured his third Cy Young award, becoming the first to achieve such a feat - tossing 323 innings of 1.73 ball while striking out 317 batters.
