1994 Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl XXVII Ring (Defensive Back Kevin Smith). The 1993 Dallas Cowboys delivered a championship season under head coach Jimmy Johnson, capturing their second consecutive Super Bowl title. After starting the season 0-2, the team surged to a 12-4 record, powered by a standout trio-Troy Aikman at quarterback, Emmitt Smith at running back, and Michael Irvin at wide receiver. Emmitt Smith won the NFL MVP and rushing title despite missing the first two games due to a contract holdout. The Cowboys defeated the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship before dominating the Buffalo Bills in Super Bowl XXVIII.
A quick glance at this ring will almost give a serious Cowboys fan a heart attack, the "Smith" surname on the left shank suggesting original ownership by the most prolific running back in NFL history. But the number "26" below is that of defensive back Kevin Smith, a speedy Aggie who was selected by the 'boys in the first round of the 1992 NFL Draft and went on to serve all eight seasons of his NFL career wearing the Lone Star on his helmet.
Ring face is packed with real diamonds, the four largest representing the franchise tally of Super Bowl Championships to date. "Dallas Cowboys" stands in raised lettering at the perimeter. Aforementioned left shank provides an enameled NFL logo and miniature Texas Stadium imagery along with the player identifiers. Right shank announces, "World Champions Back to Back" with twin Lombardi Trophies and an enameled Super Bowl XXVII logo.
Interior band is stamped, "LGB 10K" and measures to a size ten (10). Weight is fifty-seven grams (57 g.). Moderate wear evident. No box.
