1986-1991 Tony Gwynn Career Gold Glove Award. Offered is a distinctive commemorative piece produced by Rawlings: the exclusive "career" Gold Glove Award, reserved for players who earned the honor at least four times. Created to recognize the top fielders in Major League Baseball, the Gold Glove has been a symbol of defensive excellence since its inception. While the award originally honored just one player per position across all of baseball, it expanded in 1958 to recognize standouts in both the American and National Leagues.

This particular example recognizes Gwynn's outstanding defensive performances in 1986, 1987, 1989, 1990, and 1991. The design features the eponymous gold glove mounted on a tiered wooden platform, flanked by two gold-toned Rawlings baseballs. Below, a pair of plaques includes a portrait of Gwynn and an inscription celebrating his status as one of the game's finest fielders.
