The greatest figure in the history of our national pastime was not just an athletic marvel but also the game's foremost youth ambassador, and here we find just one example of his dedication to that cause. The Sultan's blue ink inscription is truly gorgeous, his dazzling handwriting applied in bold blue fountain pen ink. The wide lower border of the 10.5x8" (visible area) page reads, "To My friend Bill Robbins, Sincerely Babe Ruth." Some toning along left edge of page remains well clear of the writing.
