1909-11 T206 Piedmont 150/25 Chief Bender (Portrait) PSA VG-EX 4. Offered is a T206 White Border tobacco card featuring hall of fame pitcher Chief Bender "Portrait" with the Philadelphia Athletics. The reverse displays a "Piedmont - 150 Subjects" advertisement with a factory 25 caption. The lots sourced from this consignor being presented in this auction all have multiple characteristics in common. Beautiful colors, quality corners, problem free surface and bright white borders. The printing of the reverse ads offers the same high quality. Graded PSA VG-EX 4. At this point every T206 entry is represented by hundreds of examples. There are currently almost nine hundred for Bender with a little over one-hundred fifty examples confirmed on the PSA census for this front/back combination. Of those, this is one of only seven examples graded VG-EX with nine graded higher.
