1909 T204 Ramly Bill Carrigan PSA VG-EX 4. The Ramly Turkish Cigarettes T204 series consists of 121 cards, each measuring 2" wide by 2.5" high but levee a 10-foot-tall impression. Each unnumbered card features a finely detailed, black-and-white, oval-shaped player portrait surrounded by an ornate, golden metallic trim with the athlete's name, position and team identified within a rectangular area at the lower border. The flowing front design is also embossed which wonderfully emphasizes their allure. The card backs display either a blank back or carry a "Ramly" or "T. T. T." advertisement, with the latter being the scarcest variation.
Offered is a 1909 T204 Ramly Turkish Cigarettes card featuring Bill Carrigan, catcher for the Boston Red Sox. The presented example boasts the Ramly ad on the reverse. Graded PSA VG-EX 4. Of the nineteen total examples found in the PSA Pop Report, which is low for this series, this is one of only four cards graded VG-EX with just nine rated higher.
