The 1896 N301 Mayo's Cut Plug Die-Cut 1st Baseman (Boston) is a rare and visually distinctive card from one of the most unusual and attractive 19th-century baseball issues. Issued by the Mayo Tobacco Works of Richmond, Virginia, this set features a die-cut figure intended for a table top baseball game. The set consists of 13 players per side (New York and Boston) with 2 umpires. Players are unidentified with this striking example displaying "1st B. B." Exceptional example in high grade condition. Graded SGC 96 Mint 9.
