Circa 2000 Ted Williams Signed Display With Game Used Bat Piece. Ted Williams's legacy is that of one of the greatest hitters in baseball history, revered for his extraordinary skill and dedication to the craft of hitting. A lifelong Boston Red Sox star, he finished with a .344 batting average, 521 home runs, and remains the last player to hit over .400 in a season (.406 in 1941). His career was interrupted twice by military service as a fighter pilot in World War II and the Korean War, adding to his legend as both an athlete and patriot. Inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1966, Williams is remembered not only as "The Splendid Splinter" but also as a symbol of excellence, determination, and love for the game.
Offered is a 12x15" frame that contains a signed photograph of Williams. The display also includes a 1.5-inch wood piece from a bat used by Williams during the early portion of his career. Numbered 5/16. COA from The Highland Mint.
Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
