1978 Boston Red Sox Final Regular Season Game & "Bucky Dent" Game Ticket Stubs Lot of 2. This lot of two raw tickets exhibits light handling wear and includes:
1) Ticket stub to Boston's last regular season game of the 1978 season. The Red Sox defeated the Blue Jays 5-0 at Fenway Park to finish in a tie with the Yankees in the A.L. East. Boston's Rice and Burleson homered and Tiant got the win.
2) Ticket stub from a matchup between the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox on Oct. 2, 1978. This game served as a tie breaker to determine who got to wear the A.L. East crown. Bucky Dent's three-run home run gave New York a 3-2 lead in the seventh inning, and the Yankees would go on to prevail 5-4, with Reggie's homer proving the game winner.
