Bobby Orr's legendary "Superman" goal brings joy to the Hub1970 Boston Bruins Stanley Cup Championship Ring Presented to Dallas Smith. The celebration began even before his body fell back to Earth, and the famous photograph of Bobby Orr's levitation in the instant following his sudden death clincher has served to immortalize this fourth of the franchise's six Stanley Cup Championships to date as the greatest of them all.
Here we present four-time All-Star defenseman Dallas Smith's personal Championship prize, a gorgeous 14 karat gold ring, featuring a large onyx and glistening authentic diamond on a face trumpeting the joyous words, "Boston Bruins World Champions."
Left shank features an image of Lord Stanley's cup in miniature, flanked by three banners reporting the results of the playoff series en route to the Championship. The Bruins logo appears at right, framed by "D. Smith" and his number "20." The sharp detailing of the ring still presents wonderfully, losing none of its enormous historical appeal and we feel confident when rating this as Mint quality and in its original state. The band measures to a size 12.5, while it is accompanied by its original Balfour presentation box. An absolutely amazing piece from one of the most memorable championships in the storied franchise's history. Letter of provenance from Dallas Smith. LOA from PSA/DNA.
