Description:
1940 Chicago Bears Team Signed Banquet Program, Commemorative Booklet and NFL Championship Program. Obtained directly from the family of former Chicago Bears great Bill Osmanski, this significant collection superbly represents the 1940 NFL Championship and the team's 73-0 throttling of the Washington Redskins. Osmanski got the snowball rolling with a 68-yard touchdown to start the game, which made it 6-0 and his team never looked back.

Offered here are a few pieces featuring the famed 1940 "Windy City" squad, including the following: 1940 NFL Championship program. The publication is complete and intact, while it exhibits eight small pieces of tape on the back cover, and medium wear throughout; a 5.5x8.5" publication commemorating the Bears' 1940 season. The publication also exhibits medium wear and five small piece of tape on the back cover; also included is a team-signed banquet program. The "Union Pacific Yellowstone" piece exhibits medium wear throughout, while the following notable signatures average 6/10 quality: Bulldog Turner, Dan Fortmann, Bill Osmanski, Joe Stydahar and others. Wonderful collection from a former member of one of the most dominant championship teams in the history of the league. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA.

If my clients were to auction something of significance, having Mike as the auctioneer would be a deal maker as far as I am concerned.
