Description1960's Green Bay Packers Flag Flown Over Lambeau Field. With National Football League championship victories in 1960, 1961, 1962, 1965, 1966 and 1967, Vince Lombardi is easily one of the most collected figures in sports. That said, unless it is a Lombardi signature, mostly in the form of a Packers payroll check, very few high-end collectibles representing the legendary Green and Gold head coach exist.
Here we present a true "Holy Grail" type piece originating straight from the Lombardi era, and it's sure to be the center piece of the memorabilia room in any impressive collection of football artifacts. Offered here is the original flag that flew over New City Stadium (Lambeau Field) during the 1960's. Measuring at an enormous 10x6 feet, it exhibits typical fraying at the edges, but presents superbly overall. Guaranteed to have been flown over the popular stadium during the 60's, it can be seen in various NFL Films productions, including the popular "America's Game" series.
