Description:
Circa 1979 Terry Bradshaw Game Worn Helmet. Gorgeous "MaxPro" Pittsburgh Steelers helmet is identical in style to the one worn by this Hall of Fame legend during his back-to-back World Championship seasons of 1978 and 1979, and may well be a veteran of glorious Super Bowl action. The bold and sinister styling is instantly evocative of this Steeltown hero, with Bradshaw's number "12" properly affixed to front and rear of the exterior shell, straddling the yellow center stripe. All details are proper for Bradshaw, from the black clips that affix his preferred style of "green dot" face mask, to the consistent interior and exterior quarterback wear. "MaxPro Kineomatic 7 1/4 - 7 3/8" stickering notes Bradshaw's correct size, and his number "12" is applied in vintage marker to the interior shell over the right ear hole. In every regard, a picture-perfect representation that recalls an exciting era in NFL history when the capital of the football world was Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Sourced from the former Dallas Cowboys employee that provided the vintage Cowboys material also found within this auction. LOA from Lou Lampson.
