With provenance from a Bulls team employee is this pair of Jordan rookie gamers. Public relations assistant Corrine Zartler was personally given these shoes from Jordan. According to Zartler, the shoes were worn March 15 against Phoenix and March 17, 1985 when Jordan's Bulls beat Milwaukee in overtime 119-117. Jordan registered a triple double in the process as he scored 32 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and collected 16 assists. This claim gains momentum as the right shoe has a green mark, undoubtedly from a Bucks' player's shoe.
The rookie kicks show great use, more than one game's, with a few scuff marks and rub marks on the inner toe. Stamped on the inside is: "13 1/2 850102 TYPS." This denotes "[size] 13.5" and also being a player sample shoe. We are including the 1984-85 Bulls media guide which has Zartler pictured. Given the provenance and use, we have yet to find another pair of rookie Jordans which rivals these. Easily the finest, and most important, pair of sneakers Heritage has been honored to present. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Letter of provenance from former Chicago Bulls' worker.
