This is arguably the nicest pair of Hall of Fame pants we've handled, at least from a standpoint of pure aesthetics. The interior waistband of the home white flannel garment bears a large, artfully embroidered "Ted Williams" in red chain stitch, with waist and inseam of "38 29" similarly applied on the far side of the manufacturer's labeling. This announces "Tim McAuliffe Inc." along with a "'59" year tag.
Wear is light to moderate, just right for approximately fifty home games played this season, divided between two uniform sets. The garment is free of the staining or moth holes endemic to antique flannel, presenting with Cooperstown quality. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
