Description:
1912 Fenway Park Inaugural Season Boston Red Sox Ticket Stubs Lot of 5. From the same scrapbook that provided this auction with the enormously rare and important Grand Opening of Fenway Park ticket stub comes this offering of five stubs from that World Championship first year at the storied venue. Each is encapsulated by PSA as "Poor 1," but this grade is assigned due to the scrapbook residue on the reverse of each. The tickets' obverse presents far better. The games brought such legends as Bobby Wallace, Ed Walsh, Nap Lajoie and Home Run Baker to the infant diamond, with all but the A's making their first appearance at the Park during the series from which the stubs derive.

If my clients were to auction something of significance, having Mike as the auctioneer would be a deal maker as far as I am concerned.
