1975 World Series Game Seven Game Used Rosin Bag. It's hard to believe that there was a time when just about every professional league Championship in American sports concluded with a flood of spectators onto the playing surface, but with high security the law of the land now it's unlikely a story such as this one could ever be reproduced. The presented rosin bag was personally snatched from the mound by our consignor as he bolted onto the Fenway Park diamond the instant that Carl Yastrzemski's fly ball to center was gloved to record the final out and establish the Cincinnati Reds as World Champs. The bag has broken open after three and half decades of life as a collectible, and is now housed inside a sealed Ziploc bag with a notation written by our consignor in tape. Included is his signed letter of provenance, and our online listing will include a link to a video of the postgame chaos, which captures our consignor grabbing the bag. Photos of the consignor then and now are likewise included, providing a match to the souvenir hunter in the video.

It goes without saying that after the auction when we had a chance to have dinner together and get to know each other it even made it a better experience for me. I look forward to getting more involved with Heritage in the Future.
