Gillespie played for eight seasons from 1880-1887 for the Troy Trojans and the Giants. He won't make the HoF but he was a solid .276 lifetime hitter. PSA and SGC have graded a total of 15 cards, this is the only entry for Gillespie. Graded SGC 10 Poor 1, the card has missing corners. Remnants of tack holes are proof the card was once on proud display. The blank reverse has light soiling and surface roughness in areas. The front image has faded but the regal gaze of the Giants outfielder is clearly visible.
