Description

1946-52 Clark Griffith Signed Albertype Hall of Fame Plaque Postcard. Arguably the most significant baseball figure in the history of the sport's time in our nation's capital, Griffith here underscores the imagery of his Cooperstown bronze with a 9/10 blue fountain pen autograph. This is just the third example we've handled in our history, and unquestionably the finest of that sparse population. Verso holds a child's handwritten self-address (though card is unmailed) and remnants of scrapbook removal, but obverse presents as NRMT. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
