Description:

1910 World Series Program (Philadelphia). Astonishingly high-grade specimen is almost assuredly the finest in existence, virtually unchanged from the date of its sale to a Shibe Park fan in October 1910. Oddly, the fifty-four page program was printed without scoring pages, so we're unable to determine the exact game of issue, though only the first two of the five games required for the Athletics to claim its first ever World Championship were played in Philly. The program provides incredible photography of such legends as Chief Bender, Eddie Collins and Frank Baker within, as well as charming period advertisements for everything from automobiles to root beer. Again, we must stress that only the lightest edge and corner wear can be noted in terms of condition issues, as the publication remains free of tearing, creasing, staining or any other instances of the perils common among century-old programs. An absolute marvel for the most discerning of collectors. Guide Value or Estimate: $4,000 - $6,000.
