1984-87 Joe Montana Game Worn San Francisco 49ers Jersey, MEARS A10. Red mesh gamer dates from the middle portion of the Hall of Fame quarterback's tenure with the San Francisco 49'ers, which was likewise one of his most dominant eras, as he closed out the 1984 season with a 38-16 Super Bowl XIX victory over Dan Marino and the Miami Dolphins.His unforgettable number "16" is screened on in red to chest, sleeves and verso, with "Montana" spelled in 2 3/4" lettering across rear nameplate, while the proper "Russell [size] 44" tagging appears in left front tail. Jersey experts MEARS has deemed its wear as "moderate, while the body shell shows stress to the fabric with a slight yellow age toning, which is more pronounced in the area of the neckline. Also, on the reverse there is one small tear above the "1" with a distinct contact mark in the white mesh fabric. Overall a superb representation of a gamer from the twilight of Montana's career that achieved the highly desirable MEARS A10 designation. LOA from MEARS, A10.
