Baseball Cards
1929 R316 Kashin Publications Lou Gehrig SGC 20 Fair 1.5. In 1929, Lou Gehrig was still in the early years of his legendary career but his talents were already clear to a cheerful generation of Yankees fans. The image of Gehrig should be all too recognizable to card collectors for it is the same classic batting stance used for other "W" issues and of course the 1933 Goudey series. Excellent looking in appearance, a trio of areas of surface loss on the reverse explains the SGC 20 Fair 1.5 assessment.
1929 R316 Kashin Publications Babe Ruth SGC 40 VG 3. There really is no need to extol on the impact Babe Ruth had on both the world of Major League Baseball and the world itself. This 3-3/8" x 4-1/2" classic of a full figure Ruth is one of his many iconic portraits. A corner crease in the upper left and a small surface corner in the lower right reverse account for the grade.
1933 Delong Lou Gehrig #7 SGC 20 Fair 1.5. A tough Depression-era issue featuring one of the greatest Yankees of all. There is creasing and some surface loss on a reverse corner, the card presents very nicely for the technical grade level.
1934 Goudey Lou Gehrig #61 SGC 10 Poor 1. On the brink of his '34 Triple Crown season, Lou is depicted from the waist up wielding the lumber that would help him attain that goal. One of two of Gehrig entries in the 1934 Goudey issue, both of which are considered among the "must have" vintage cards in the hobby let alone "Iron Horse" fans. Here we present his #61 card, graded SGC 10 Poor 1. A pair of creases and surface loss affecting the reverse account for the technical assessment.
1957 Topps Pee Wee Reese #30 SGC 80 EX/NM 6. Nice card from the 1957 Topps issue featuring Hall of Fame shortstop Pee Wee Reese with the Brooklyn Dodgers.
1961 Exhibit - Wrigley Field Babe Ruth SGC 70 EX+ 5.5. The undisputed key subject of this scarce 1960's exhibit edition. The Wrigley field name is in reference to their distribution address. This set was made available for only one season at stadium souvenir shops. Graded SGC 70 EX+ 5.5, no creases, no wrinkles, just minor corner wear.
1909-11 T206 White Border Tobacco SGC-Graded Trio (3). Offered are three nice examples from the ever popular early 20th century production. each displays a Piedmont advertising reverse. The lot includes: Jerry Freeman (SGC 40 VG 3), John Ganzel (SGC 40 VG 3) and Spike Shannon (SGC 50 VG/EX 4).

1975 SSPC Baseball GAI Gem Mint 9.5 Group of (18). In 1975, Sports Star Publishing Co. (SSPC) produced a 630-card set of present day athletes including most of the biggest name stars. This lot contains 18 GAI-Graded cards of four of those stars. Includes: Graded - GAI Gem Mint 9.5 - #'s 41 Pete Rose (6), 238 Robin Yount RC (8), 239 Hank Aaron (3) and 334 Gary Carter RC.
1936 Wheaties-Series 4 Lou Gehrig - Full Size Panel. When issued in 1936, this scarce collectible was the back panel of a box of Wheaties cereal. The panel features Yankees legend Lou Gehrig in a classic batting portrait extolling the value of eating the "Breakfast of Champions." Technically "Fair" due to a pair of pin holes (one quite obvious), a small surface scuff mark visible in Gehrig's bat and the loss of the upper, left corner tip. Those do little to detract from the strong overall eye appeal. It is also quite scarce to find this series as a full 6" X 8-1/2" panel intact as youngsters rarely "cut along the dotted line" as they say. A scarce Wheaties brand Gehrig collectible.
1909-11 T206 White Border & 1911 T205 Gold Border Tobacco Collection (14). Offered is a collection of 14 different early 20th century tobacco cards. Includes: 1909-11 T206 White Border (11) - w/Alperman, Bell (hand cut), Burch/Fielding, Desseau, Jordan, Lennox, Marshall, McElveen, Myers, O'Brien and Ritter. 1920's-1940's Lou Gehrig Collectibles Trio (3) Plus '40's Yankees Postcard. This small but very enticing presentation offers four New York Yankees collectibles, three (for sure) featuring legendary 1st Baseman Lou Gehrig. Includes: 1) 1928 W565 Lou Gehrig hand cut strip card. Presents EX/MT to NM; 2) 1933 Orbit Gum Lou Gehrig pin. No scratches, scuffing to forehead as seen. Overall presents excellent; 3) 1936 Exhibit Four-In-One Lou Gehrig. This piece was originally postcard sized but was cut apart. 1950 Walter O'Malley Signed Letter The Hall of Fame owner of the Brooklyn Dodgers RSVP's in the negative for an invitation to a Baseball Writer's dinner. Letter is typed on his personal Law Offices letterhead, and is signed simply "Walter" in 10/10 blue ink. 1944 Branch Rickey Signed Letter. Less than three years before he made history by bringing Jackie Robinson onto a Major League diamond, Rickey accepts an invitation to a banquet with a typed letter on Dodgers letterhead. Tom Yawkey Handwritten Signed Letter. The Hall of Fame former owner of the Boston Red Sox penned this short letter on two separate pages to a friend, closing the correspondence with a perfect "Tom Yawkey" signature. All ink is 10/10 and the pages show original mailing folds and a paper clip impression at upper edge but no other issues to note. Auction LOA from JSA.

1928 Lou Gehrig Wire Photograph. Issued at the close of the 1928 regular season, one which the Yanks would cap with a second consecutive World Series sweep, this terrific news photograph offers a great view of a youthful Iron Horse tending to his first base duties. Damage at the upper right will be evident in our online photography, but it should also be clear how easily this could be hidden with a simple matting job. Paper caption affixed to verso. Size is 6.5x8.5".
1930's Lou Gehrig Photograph by George Burke. There's a reason why Burke is the most collectible baseball photographer of his day, and one look at this magnificently rendered image of the Iron Horse will make it evident. The 4x6" shot is stamped by Burke on verso and remains in marvelous NRMT condition.
1930's Lou Gehrig Original Snapshot Photograph. One of a kind image finds the Iron Horse graciously posing for a visitor to the Yanks' spring training facility. The 2.5x3.5" image shows wear at the white borders, but the image area remains free of faults and well-focused. Handwritten notation identifies Gehrig at lower border.
1937 Lou Gehrig "Rawhide" Studio Photograph from Walsh Estate. The Iron Horse rides a real horse as Hollywood asks the question, "What if Lou Gehrig left the Yankees to become a rancher out west?" The answer, keep your day job, slugger. This sepia 8x10" photo derives from super-agent Christy Walsh's estate, with a letter of provenance from his daughter-in-law. A crease appears at lower left corner, but otherwise the photo presents very well.
Circa 1920 Babe Ruth & Roger Peckinpaugh Photograph. Terrific photo must have been snapped in either 1920 or 1921, the only two years this pair shared a Yankees dugout. The unique portrait photograph measures 5x7", with the mat and frame extending the final dimensions to 8x10". The photo shows no flaws but has not been examined outside the frame.
1926 "Along Came Ruth" Sheet Music. Legendary composer Irving Berlin turns his considerable talents toward celebrating baseball's greatest star with this complete sheet music issued during the Yanks' fourth American League pennant-winning season. Some staining along the bottom edge does little to detract, nor does the light general wear. This would look fantastic matted and framed on the wall.
Circa 1930 Babe Ruth Underwear Premium Photograph. He might not have quite the same build as Barry Bonds, but he got the job done. Classic image of the Babe was included in every package of the underwear he endorsed. The 8x10" shot bears a facsimile autograph and exhibits mild edge and corner wear with a couple small repaired border tears. Matting and framing would go a long way toward approaching a NRMT appearance.
1943 War Bond Game Photograph and Ticket Stub. How's that for some elite baseball talent? Ruth, Wagner, Johnson, Speaker, Klein, Collins and Mack are among the icons posing for this shot snapped at the August 26, 1943 War Bonds game. The photo measures 8x10" and has punch holes at upper edge but no other flaws affecting display. Also here is a VG stub from the game. A special pairing for a game we wish we could have attended.
1929 The Sporting News Record Book for 1929. The Ruth and Gehrig cover makes the 1929 edition of this essential guide all the more essential for Yankees collectors. Typical edge and spine wear is evident, but the little booklet presents very well and is packed to the gills with useful data.
1935 "The Reach Official American League Baseball Guide" with Gehrig Cover. The hard-slugging first baseman for the New York Yankees assumes a batting pose on the cover of this tough publication issued the year after the Iron Horse finished a shocking fifth in MVP voting after claiming the AL Triple Crown. Light foxing and spine wear are the only condition concerns, as the book is otherwise complete and tightly bound.
1937 "The Reach Official American League Baseball Guide" with Gehrig Cover. The Most Valuable Player of the 1936 season was the obvious choice for the cover of this guide for the 1937 American League season. Some light foxing is the only notable condition issue, as the softcover book otherwise remains complete, tightly bound and undamaged.
Circa 1940 Lou Gehrig Biography Advertising Pamphlet. Four-page pamphlet advertises Stan W. Carlson's biography about the Hall of Fame first baseman for the New York Yankees. Rare piece exhibits a few creases but remains very solid with no tearing or staining. The first example we've ever encountered, for the Gehrig collector who has everything.
1943 War Bond Game Program Featuring Baseball Legends. From the same source which provided this auction with the photo and ticket stub from this historic game comes this official program, featuring a team with such legends as Ott, Lombardi, Hubbell, Medwick, Waner, Durocher, Vaughan, Gordon, Dickey, Greenberg and more. The tremendously scarce program from the Polo Grounds contest shows expected wear, with cover detached but present and moderate water staining, but it remains complete and is surely one of the only surviving examples.
1947 Walter Johnson Memorial Unveiling Game Program. The Big Train came to the end of the tracks much too young, before his sixtieth birthday, leaving behind a grieving baseball world which responded in part with the honor of a memorial at the ballpark in Washington, DC where he earned his Hall of Fame plaque. Presented is the only program we've ever encountered for the unveiling game, pencil scored at center for the Senators' meeting with the St. Louis Browns. Wear is evident throughout, with some spine separation, light tearing and punch holes along the left edge, but the program remains solid and complete. Condition issues must be excused in light of the tremendous rarity.
April 1935 "Baseball Magazine" with Lou Gehrig Cover. The Hall of Fame first baseman plays cover boy for the most important baseball magazine of the day. Issue shows moderate spine wear but otherwise presents nicely, remaining complete and tightly bound with no staining or tearing.
August 1939 "Baseball Magazine" with Gehrig Cover. One of the most famous photos of Gehrig takes the cover of a magazine telling the heartbreaking story of Lou's farewell to the game he dominated. Issue shows moderate spine wear and scattered creasing, with original owner's name written on cover.
1934 Goudey Wrapper and 1939 Mailing Envelope Pair (2). be it through the mail or in a display box, something protected the collectibles we hold so near and dear to our hearts until they reach their final destination inside albums, shoeboxes and pants pockets. This lot offers two such protective outer housing: a 1934 R320 Goudey Wax Paper Wrapper - With batter and "Lou Gehrig says..." on front. 1939 Opening of Baseball Hall of Fame First Day Covers Lot of 2. Scarce pairing of first day covers actually were mailed from Cooperstown, NY on the date of the famed museum's opening, each addressed on front and showing minor mailing wear. The pair still presents very nicely, however, with no troubling flaws to note.
Vintage ('40's?) New York Yankees Pennant. One of the most ways fans show their love for their favorite team is the pennant. It is amazing the pride and boisterous bragging these triangle shaped collectibles conjure up in the heart of the true fan. This vintage (we believe 1940's) pennant depicts a cheerful (okay, maybe too cheerful) "baseball man" holding two bats and doing a slight dance step. The remaining graphics are a boldly printed "New York". The 4" x 8-3/4" pennant has the original cloth straps attached and they are in very good condition. Overall, excellent in appearance.
1913 "They All Know Cobb" Sheet Music Picturing Ty Cobb. Fantastic cover graphics make this rare sheet music a graphical treasure for the early 20th century baseball collector. The Georgia Peach is pictured amidst a colorful garden of flowers on the cover, which shows typical edge and corner wear but still presents wonderfully, with a small tear at right edge the main flaw to note.
1942 Lou Gehrig Biography, Armed Forces Edition. Paperback volume allowed WWII soldiers to read the inspiring story of the falled Iron Horse. Book shows considerable wear but remains firmly bound and complete. A rare copy of this important biography by Frank Graham.
1941 Lou Gehrig Memorial Pinback. Solid representation of the pin issued shortly after the Iron Horse's passing appropriately announces "Never Forgotten," and that remains true to this day. Some toning is apparent at lower edge, but the pin still presents nicely, with original ribbon and charm. 1.75" diameter.
1942 "The Pride of the Yankees" Spanish Handbill. Advertising handbill for the classic Gehrig biopic finds Cooper oddly wearing red pinstripes and enough make-up to perform in a Duran Duran tribute band. Light paper stock piece measures 3.5x5" in size and presents at an EX-MT level. We've never seen this one before and don't expect to again.
1928 Ken-Wel Sporting Goods Catalog. Thirty-two page catalog is packed with fantastic graphics picturing the top players of the day--Gehrig, Vance, Heilmann and more--and the gloves they endorsed. Condition is very strong, with spine and edge wear the only issues worth noting. An essential purchase for the vintage equipment collector.
1942 "The Pride of the Yankees" Day Player Contract. A bit player in the famous Lou Gehrig biopic agrees to terms to perform in the classic film at a rate of $25/day. Both the actor and a representative of Samuel Goldwyn, Inc. Ltd. have signed their consent to the arrangement at bottom. Size is 6x8.5". EX+.

1930's Lou Gehrig Mini Bat & Pennant. Souvenir mini bat (16" long) is a charming little replica of the one taken to the plate by the Iron Horse. A small chip on the barrel is barely noticeable. Attached to the handle is a small (7" long) felt pennant announcing Gehrig's ballclub, in fine undamaged condition.
1935 "I Can't Get to First Base with You" Lou Gehrig Sheet Music. Lou's wife joined forces with noted songwriter Fred Fisher to compose this tribute to the Hall of Fame Yankee, who is pictured on the cover smoking a cigarette. Some mild wear is evident but our imagery should properly indicate that the effect is minor. A great, oversized image of the legendary Iron Horse.

Babe Ruth Ephemera Lot. The common theme is the Bambino with this varied assortment of vintage collectibles. 1) Babe Ruth locker tag. These have often been sold as Ruth's personal locker key chain, but the considerable number available suggests promotional issue. EX-MT. 2) Ford Motor Company pamphlet. 1938 Brooklyn Dodgers Partial Barnstorming Scorecard with Babe Ruth Cover. Ruth was still chasing in vain his dream of managing a Big League club in 1938 when he took a first base coaching job with the Brooklyn Dodgers, who saw the legendary slugger as more of a drawing card than a future skipper. His star power was used for this rare scorecard issued at a barnstorming event. The Chiefs half of the card is missing so it's now just a 7x10" card stock page, but the display value is still quite strong, with creasing at lower left corner doing little to detract.
1930's Babe Ruth Fountain Pen. Rare and attractive writing utensil was endorsed by baseball's greatest star, whose facsimile signature is engraved on the shaft. A miniature baseball remains in place on the cap. VG-EX condition.
Circa 1930 Babe Ruth Celluloid Scorer. Rare artifact issued by the "New York American" newspaper invokes the name of Babe Ruth, certainly the best name to sell papers in the Big Apple. Condition is marvelous, with none of the cracking or staining one typically finds in scorers from this era.
Circa 1927 Babe Ruth Punch Card. Unused gambling card makes use of the marketing strength of the game's greatest name. The 7x7" cardboard relic confines the majority of its condition issues to the verso, with some staining and paper loss, while the front exhibits only light toning and minor edge wear, as our imagery should attest. A scarce piece for the advanced Ruth collector.
1927 "Babe Comes Home" Lobby Card. Enormously rare lobby card dates to the greatest season of Ruth's baseball career, one in which he clubbed sixty home runs while leading the Yankees to the World Championship. Condition is marvelous, with light wear at the corners the only issues to note. The title lobby card from the eight-piece set, originally owned by Barry Halper, recently sold for over $15,000 at auction. Size is 11x14".
1930's Babe Ruth Mini Bat. Charming little replica (16" long) of the bat taken to the plate by the great Bambino has survived the passing of decades remarkably well, with no flaws worthy of note. A great addition to any collection of Ruth memorabilia.
Circa 1917 Honus Wagner Mini Bats Lot of 2. Intriguing pair of mini bats (16" long each) pays tribute to the Old Dutchman. The first is simply a replica of Wagner's game bat (though with a disproportionately large facsimile signature), but the second is particularly intriguing, announcing Wagner Day, June 9. Our research shows that "Wagner Day" was actually in July 1908, but June 9, 1917 was the day Wagner joined Cap Anson as just the second member of the 3,000 Hit Club. This would make the bat a particularly special memento if that's the connection. Each shows only minor wear and presents at EX-MT or better.
Honus Wagner Sporting Goods Ephemera Lot. Intriguing assortment of material endorsed by the Pirates legend includes: 1) Honus Wagner Official League baseball. Minor foxing otherwise very nice. 2) Original box for the ball with insignificant water staining apparent on close inspection. 3) Enormous matchbook (3.5x4") advertising Honus Wagner Sporting Goods. EX. 4) "Honus Wagner Athletic Goods" catalog. Thirty-four pages with many illustrations. EX-MT.
1904 "Husky Hans" Sheet Music Picturing Honus Wagner. Magnificent turn-of-the-century graphics, highlighted by a photographic image of the Hall of Fame Pittsburgh Pirates shortstop, make this oversized display piece a treasure for the avid collector. Light toning and edge wear is evident, but the effect is minimal and the piece presents marvelously.
Circa 1910 Honus Wagner Real Photo Postcard. Fantastic photographic portrait of the Old Dutchman appears on an unused postcard issued during the Hall of Fame shortstop's career. Some toning on verso, but image size present magnificently. One of the best photos we've seen of Wagner. 3.5x5.5".
Basketball Cards
1970 Topps Pete Maravich Rookie #123 PSA NM-MT 8 (OC). One of the most beloved figures in post-war basketball history made his cardboard debut in this popular "tall boy" issue, and here we present a wonderful high-grade specimen featuring a baby-faced Pistol Pete. Colors are bold, registration precise, borders are glossy and bright. The severe lack of wear so typical this grade is apparent. A beautiful card with graphics that sit low and to the right of center.
1980-81 Topps Bird and Johnson Rookie #6 SGC 84 NM 7. Here we present the "key" entry to the experimental 1980-81 Topps basketball issue. The issue featured cards that were grouped together in threes with perforations between them. This standard sized (2-1/2"x 3-1/2") rookie collectible of both Larry Bird and Magic Johnson (SGC 84 NM 7) can be found attached to either side of HoFer Julius Erving.

1970 University of Texas Longhorns Team Signed Football. A full roster of over sixty signatures recalls the team which won the NCAA National Championship. Coach Royal and Steve Wooster are among the names present, appearing in the same 8/10 and better black ink that characterizes the entirety of the ball. 1982-1984 Dallas Cowboys Team Signed Footballs Lot Of 4. Offered is a collection of team signed footballs from the early 1980's(1982-1984) Cowboys. Danny White led the Cowboys during the 80's, taking over the helm for newly departed Roger Staubach. Although the Cowboys did not reach the Super Bowl during the 80's, White led the Cowboys to the playoffs five times and won two division championships. All three Wilson footballs have been signed on the leather white panels. The 1982 team ball is highlighted by Tony Dorsett, Tony Hill, Rafael Septien, Drew Pearson, "Too Tall" Jones, Butch Johnson, BIlly Joe DuPree, Robert Newhouse, and Everson Walls. A 1983 team signed ball with Dorsett, Walls, Pearson, Bill Bates, Jeffcoat, etc. The 1984 ball is highlighted by Mike Renfro, Bates, Duriel Harris, Kirk Phillips, Dexter Clinkscale, Howard Richards, etc. Light cracks in the leather do little to detract from the signatures. The final football in the lot is an unsigned commemorative SuperBowl XXVII football limited edition number 10 of 1000. Auction LOA from JSA.
1984-85 Pittsburgh Steelers Team Signed Football & Art Rooney Autograph. The presented football was a gift from Daniel Rooney, the son of Hall of Fame executive and Steelers founder Art Rooney, and includes a letter from Daniel which accompanied the gift. The official NFL ball is signed by over thirty including Art Rooney, Bradshaw, Ham, Harris, Lambert, Webster and more. All black sharpie signatures are as bold as the day they were applied. Also here is a small slip of paper autographed by Rooney in 10/10 black ink, recalling his team's three Super Bowl victories. Auction LOA from JSA.
1914 Pennsylvania vs. Michigan Football Program. Glorious graphics and tremendous scarcity conspire to create the finest football program in this auction, issued for a November 7, 1914 meeting between the Universities of Pennsylvania and Michigan. Football programs predating America's involvement in the first World War are highly prized by collectors, and this solid and complete specimen should draw considerable attention. Condition troubles are confined mainly to the rear cover which exhibits minor paper loss from apparent scrapbook removal. Otherwise light toning is the only point to note.
1922 Illinois vs. Michigan Football Program. Relic of a classic rivalry is one of the very few surviving examples, issued October 28, 1922 at Ferry Field. Only mild spine and edge wear is to be noted in terms of condition, with no tearing or staining typical of most programs from the first quarter of the twentieth century. A special find for the advanced collector.
1924 Michigan vs. Ohio State Football Program. The greatest rivalry in the Big Ten came to Ohio Stadium on November 15, 1924 where this rare Homecoming edition was issued. The sixty-four page publication remains in VG condition with wear to the center spread and rear cover accounting for the majority of its issues. The program remains complete and tightly bound.
1924 Iowa vs. Michigan Football Program. Stellar graphics makes this specimen particularly attractive to the collegiate football collector, and strong condition adds to the appeal. Some light staining of the cover is to be noted, and half of an interior page is missing, but otherwise the program remains complete and tightly bound with typical spine and edge wear.
1926 Navy vs. Michigan Football Program. A ship on the high seas dominates the cover of this attractive publication issued at Baltimore Stadium the day before Halloween, 1926. The program remains complete and tightly bound, but does exhibit some condition problems, notably double punch holes at the left edge, some water damage and subsequent paper loss to interior pages and some handwriting inside. The program still presents quite nicely despite these flaws.
1927 Navy vs. Michigan Football Program. About six weeks after Babe Ruth hit his historic sixtieth home run in 1927, the Navy sailed onto the Ann Arbor gridiron for a meeting with Michigan. This program was issued at that event, and remains in fine condition over eight decades later. Light spine wear and a barely noticeable vertical crease from the program having been folded lengthwise account for the majority of condition issues.
1927 Minnesota vs. Michigan Football Program. The female original owner of this rare publication apparently thought quite a bit of the cover boy, Michigan captain Bennie Oosterbaan, expressing her feelings with writing on the cover. Other than this issue, the program remains in as-issued condition, with typical spine and edge wear the only detractions. Interior pages are free of flaws, and the program remains complete and tightly bound.
1929 Ohio State vs. Michigan Football Program. The classic rivalry, eighty years in the past. Just very minor damp staining at the right edge is to be noted here, as this one has survived its eight decades of life quite admirably, remaining complete and tightly bound with no creasing or tearing to note.
1929 Michigan vs. Harvard Football Program. The Big Ten faces off against the Ivy League on November 9, 1929, the day this attractive program was issued to fans at the new Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor. Typical spine wear and a repaired two-inch cover tear are the only issues of note. The program remains complete and tightly bound.
1931 Michigan Normal vs. Michigan Football Program. Also known as the Central State Teachers College, Michigan Normal made the short trip to Ann Arbor to take on the mighty U of M on October 3, 1931, the date this program was issued. We find typical spine and edge wear, but the program remains complete and tightly bound. A small cover tear causes no concern, nor does some light scattered rumpling.
1951 Rose Bowl Program, California vs. Michigan. A defensive battle saw the Michigan Wolverines score two unanswered fourth quarter touchdowns to top the California Golden Bears by a tally of fourteen to six in the thirty-seventh edition of this annual event. The presented program was sold to one of the 99,000 attendees and remains in strong condition today, with just the typical spine and edge wear to note.
Super Bowl XI through XXVI Programs Run of 16. The biggest game in the sport, the finest programs in the hobby. Each and every edition presented within this lot is in as-issued condition, with not a flaw to be found. A great foundation upon which to build a full high-grade collection, or an opportunity for an enterprising dealer.

1979 Topps Wayne Gretzky Rookie #18 SGC 84 NM 7. Near flawless rookie example from the Great One's debut in the 1979-80 Topps hockey issue. A centering issue has necessitated the 84 NM 7 grade, however that does little to curb the appeal of this card which is modern hockey's equivalent to the rookie card of Michael Jordan.

1954 Bowman "Power For Peace" Complete Set (96). Gritty real world images and military apparatus combine for one of the most popular war related card productions of the 1950's. Overall, this is a solid middle grade set. Grades 6% NM to NM/MT, 74% EX to EX/MT, 20% VG to VG/EX.
