1962 Life Magazine with Mantle and Maris Post Cereal Cards. The April 13, 1962 Life magazine is unique in several ways. Looking into the past and seeing Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor on the cover, to the ads inside offering cigarettes to Bourbon. 1934-36 R327 National Chicle "Diamond Stars" Wax Paper Wrapper. Display boxes, wrappers and unopened parks from the 1930's are among the most high prized collectibles of that era. This very scarce 5-1/8" x 6-5/8" wax paper wrapper has managed to pass the test of time rather well. The visual appeal of the multi-color graphics are only mildly affected by the small tears and edge chipping which is limited to the outer border areas. There is creasing affecting two panels but the overall stability of the paper is not compromised. The scarcity of this type of item today is likely explained by the offer for the exchange of 15 wrappers for a "MOST FAMOUS PICTURES in BASEBALL" premium. Overall very good condition.
