What is Heritage's return policy?

Heritage offers a three (3) day return policy for all Internet auctions (does not include Signature Auctions). Policy varies by type of Auction. See the "Additional Terms and Conditions" section of our Terms & Conditions.

What is the Buyer's Premium?

A Buyer's Premium of fifteen percent (15%) or nineteen and one-half percent (19.5%) of the hammer price will be added to the successful bid (varies by venue, see item #2 in our Terms & Conditions). There is a minimum Buyer's Premium of $9.00 through May 31, 2009 and $14.00 afterwards per lot.

Do I have to Pay Sales Tax?

Lots delivered in the States of Texas, New York (except sports), and California for coins or any other state where the auction is held, are subject to all applicable state and local taxes, unless appropriate permits are on file with us. Find out more...

How much will my shipping be?

Our shipping charges include shipping, handling and private carrier insurance. Shipping varies according the item type, quantity, and value (for insurance purposes). View our complete shipping chart.

If I win, how do I pay?

For fastest delivery upon receipt of funds, you should pay with a bank wire, cashiers check or bank money orders, or have previously arranged credit with Heritage. Payments can be made via eCheck, although payments via personal or corporate checks may be held 5 days or more for the funds to clear prior to shipping. Payments with credit cards (Visa and Master Card only, up to $10,000 from non-dealers at our discretion) must be shipped to the billing address on the credit card for all new customers (some restrictions apply). If the address we have for you doesn't match the credit card address, the shipment will be held and you will be notified. Payments can be made by PayPal (up to $10,000 from non-dealers at our discretion). See item #24-33 in our Terms & Conditions.

If I win, when will I receive my lots?

Allow 7-14 days to receive the items you won. Note that your payment options can also impact shipping times. See item #38-41 in our Terms & Conditions
