With Our February Platinum Auction Right Around the Corner, Heritage Sports Reps Head to Houston

Season's Greetings! It's the New Year, and as far as Heritage Auctions' sports department is concerned, 2013 will be our most exciting and successful year yet. Our highly anticipated February Platinum Night Auction is only weeks away from going live, and we are still actively accepting high quality vintage card and memorabilia consignments for our 2013 April Signature Auction.

Collectors in the Houston area will have a chance to visit with Heritage representatives Mark Jordan and Pete Calderon at "Tri Star's 27th Annual Houston Collectors Show" at Reliant Arena from January 25-27. To make an appointment or for more information, please contact Mark Jordan at MarkJ@HA.com or (214) 409-1187 or Peter Calderon at PeterC@HA.com or (214) 409-1789.

In addition, Lee Iskowitz will be at our New York City office on Thursday, January 17 and Thursday, January 31 (by appointment only) to view potential sports consignments. If you have vintage sports cards, autographs or memorabilia please make an appointment to stop by our 445 Park Ave. office by contacting at LeeI@HA.com or (214) 409-1601 to discuss your consignment.

Sunday Internet Auction Highlights

HA.com/Sports is the place to be every Sunday night for collectors of fine sports memorabilia and trading cards.

Over 100 lots will close to initial bidding at 10 PM CT. On a lot-by-lot basis, starting at 10:00 PM CT, any person who has bid on the lot previously may continue to bid on that lot until there are no more bids for 30 minutes. For example, if you bid on a lot during Normal Bidding, you could participate during Extended Bidding for that lot, but not on lots you did not bid on previously. If a bid was placed at 10:15, the new end time for that lot would become 10:45. If no other bids were placed before 10:45, the lot would close. If you are the high bidder on a lot, changing your bid will not extend the bidding during the 30 Minute Ending phase (only a bid from another bidder will extend bidding).

No other major sports memorabilia auction house provides its clientele this much bidding excitement. It's just another reason why Heritage is the World's Largest Collectibles Auctioneer.

Call or email today to discuss consigning your fine sport collectibles and trading cards to an upcoming Heritage auction.

Website Tips: Connect to Heritage through PayPal

If you've visited the Heritage website recently, you may have noticed a change as you tried to log in. We now allow you to sign up or log in to HA.com with your PayPal credentials.

As always, you can log in with your Heritage username and password. However, if you click on the PayPal icon to sign in, you will be taken to a screen that asks you to sign in with your PayPal credentials. Enter the email address and password you use with PayPal here.

If your PayPal account is not connected with your Heritage account yet, but we recognize the email address, you will see a screen that looks like this. To connect the two accounts, just enter your Heritage password here. Once you've connected your account, you will be able to sign in to Heritage with your PayPal credentials for as long as the two accounts are connected.

You can always connect and disconnect a PayPal account, regardless of email address, to your Heritage account through MyProfile. In the lower part of the page, click on the switch to connect the PayPal account of your choice. Once connected, you can sign in with either your Heritage information or your PayPal information for as long as the accounts are connected.

If you're not already a Heritage member, you can join as a full member with just your PayPal credentials. To sign up this way, just click on the PayPal icon on the sign-up page and enter your PayPal credentials. Once you've done that, a page will come up with a couple of quick questions, and you're all done!

Finally, if you're not approved to bid yet, you can get approved to bid by connecting a PayPal account to your Heritage account. As long as the PayPal account connected to your account is validated through PayPal (this involves connecting the PayPal account to a valid bank account), you're good to go.
