Description:
Spectacular 1956 Topps Baseball Full Uncut Sheet The rarity of a 1950's Topps fully produced uncut sheets cannot be understated. Put this amazing baseball card display piece on your wall and wait for the jaws to drop! Offered is a rare 110- card uncut sheet of 1956 Topps Baseball cards. This is a full production sheet of 100 different subjects plus 10 double printed players, the very same cards that were meant to be cut into single cards and placed into wax packs. Luckily for the collecting hobby, this sheet was spared the Topps guillotine. If just the fact this is an uncut sheet isn't enough, there is a stellar line up of HoFers including Ted Williams, Jackie Robinson, Walt Alston, Warren Giles and William Harridge (twice), Warren Spahn, Ernie Banks, Al Kaline, plus second-year cards of Hank Aaron (twice!), Roberto Clemente and Sandy Koufax. There are also seven "name at left" team card variations. This sheet measures 26-3/4"x42" and is in optimal condition. Bright and clean overall, hues have remained bold and vibrant culminating in a stunning overall near-mint appearance. There is some corner wear, but this has no impact on the extremely impressive display. The sheet is perfectly flat and the reverse of the sheet is fully printed and as clean as the front. An ideal piece to display in your den or man-cave where sports and sports collectibles are the main topics of conversation. The crowning touch to any 1950's collection.
